Meridith is a native of Georgia. After graduating from The Lovett School she continued on to the Georgia Institute of Technology. While there she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Management. Meridith then went on to work for an insurance company where she handled complex claims before attending law school. Meridith earned her Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law in 2004. While attending law school Meridith interned at JP Morgan Mortgage Capital and served as a student attorney in the Philip C. Cook Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic at Georgia State.
After graduating from law school, Meridith joined the law firm of Hendrick & Rascoe, LLC, where she developed and implemented large estate plans for many high net worth families in the greater Atlanta area. Meridith’s practice consisted not only of creating estate plans, but also dealing with the administration of estates, preparing gift and estate tax returns, creating foundations and other business entities, handling buy/sell agreements and negotiating prenuptial agreements.
